The Interplay Between Extraversion, Openness And Emotional Intelligence On The Academic Achievements Among The Undergraduate Students Of JOTSUM

This paper aim to explore the interplay between openness, extraversion and emotional intelligence in predicting academic achievement among undergraduate engineering students of JOSTUM, Benue state, Nigeria. Three objectives were raised, undergraduate students of school of engineering serves the population, in determining the sample size a research advisor (2006) was used. Correlational design and purposive sampling were employed respectively. A Big five personality inventory and social emotional intelligence scale (SEIS) serves the instruments for gathering information while CGPA of the students is also used to measure academic achievement.
